Peace

As we lay on our beds,
Many are still finding a safe place to rest.
We may nit be able to sleep, because of the thoughts running in our heads.
There are those who don't want to close their eyes as they might not wake in the morning.
All of us have fears...
And tonight as we rest, let's pray for those who need comfort...
Let's pray for the fathers who feel helpless because they can't protect their children from war.
Let's pray for mothers, who need to be strong because she's on her own, raising her children.
Let's pray for the children, they desnerve better.
May all of us find peace.
May we coexist respecting one another.

Stability

I dream of so many things when I was younger.
I dreamed of a home, a car and a successful business.
Although I have a home, it is not mine.
I live with my parents, which is a blessing.
I look after them and they look after me.
We have some disagreements, but I know they will never turn their backs on me.
And I love them, and won't trade them for anything.

I don't have a car. How can I? I don't know how to drive.
But I know someday I will.
For now, not having a car is not stopping me from going to places.
I am able to use public transportation anytime I want.
I always have enough to pay for the fare and arrive at my destination safely.
That is good enough for me.

A successful business, that I always dream of.
I am so close to it, that it scares me.
Failure, scares me. But I know, it is the right time to try.
Being scared is normal, I guess.
At least I know what will happen to me if I don't work hard.

I am thankful, for the things I don't have and the things I have.
I know my Father knows what is best for me.
He wants me to be strong, to be able to stand on my own.
I know he wants me to remain humble, to continue to do His will.
Lord, I pray, that I remain your child and You remain my Father.
Guide me, enlighten me and love me unconditionally...

Amen...

True Happiness

My heart is crushed,
I am in pain, confused, damaged and broken..
Heal me Lord.. to you I surrender everything....

Amen..

Protection

Lord, I am forever grateful to you. For your love and care. 

I come beforn e you Lord, to ask for protection. 

Please protect me and all my loved ones from the evils of the Earth. 

Protect us from those who want t harm and hurt us. 

Lord, protect us from the different calamities. 

Help us do what we can to reduce or even avoid destruction. 

Grant us the wisdom Lord to make the necessary preparation.

Teach us what to do Lord. 

Protect us Lord, from ourselves.

Do not let selfishness destroy us. 

Lord, please remind us constantly, that without you, we are nothing.

Protect us Lord from our awful thoughts. 

Protect the goodness in us Lord, so that one day, we will be with You in paradise.

Wisdom

Lord,
I pray for enlightenment and guidance as I go through life.
Everyday, I am faced with new challenges and difficulties,
I pray that You may grant me the wisdom to understand Your purpose.
teach me to be grateful, as You alone,
are aware of the reasons why I need to experience such hardships.

Father, please grant me an open mind,
that I may understand and welcome things that are not part of my ideals.
I am aware that many things here on Earth are imperfect..

However, I often forget that it is not my job to judge them.

Almighty Father, please don't let me criticize others for their shortcomings,
Rather, make me fully aware of my own weakness and limitation.
Lord, please grant me the will to understand
the things that are beyond my comprehension.
And remind me that I have a lot to learn.

Amen...

Direction...

Lord,

I know you have your plans for me.
Help me find my purpose in life, direct me where you want me to go.
I pray for guidance that I may always do what is pleasing in your eyes.
Lord, I know I have failed you in the past.
I was stubborn and disobedient, please forgive me Lord.
Grant me strength to resist all temptations.
Protect me dear Lord from all evils.

And teach me how to be your humble servant.
Use me as an instrument to bring more people closer to you.

I love you Lord.

Thank You Lord....

Almighty Father,

Thank you for all your blessings.

Thank You for the gift of family.

They are manifestations of your unconditional love.

Thank you for the work,

They present challenges that help bring out my true potential.

Thank you for my friends, they give me more purpose.

Thank you for the difficulties, as they help me appreciate the good things more.

Thank you for your love, you have embraced me even in my sinfulness.

Thank you Lord, for allowing me to become human and 

using me as your instrument for others to be happy. 

I will be forever grateful. Amen.
